Research Fellowships on Public Health and Adolescence 2016
MAMTA Health Institute for Mother and Child (MAMTA), under the aegis of its Centre of Adolescent Health and Development and, in collaboration with Indian Academy of Paediatrics –Research in Child Health Group (IAP-RCH) – is offering Research Fellowship to promote health, socio-behavioural and policy research in priority areas that impact adolescents. The fellowship is meant to develop evidence to guide quality programming and policy. This is an opportunity for students enrolled in full time MD or PhD courses in a relevant discipline of medical science (Pediatrics, Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, or Community Medicine), social science, public health or allied areas from a recognized University/Institution in India to avail a fellowship grant of up to INR 1,00,000 with an additional amount up to INR 50,000/- for publication support in peer-reviewed journals. MAMTA will award ten such fellowships annually, subject to relevance and quality of proposals received. Selected candidates and their supervisors (if desired) will also receive a seven day Research Methodology Training in the context of Adolescent health research by National and International experts.
